Christina-Kallirroi Garbi is a film director, author, and actress.

Her short fiction films have been screened and awarded at some of the most important international short film festivals (Jeonju International Short Film Festival – South Korea, VIENNA SHORTS, Trieste Film Festival, INTERFILM Berlin, Chicago International Indie Film Festival, IN THE PALACE Film Festival - Bulgaria, Athens International Film Festival, Drama International Short Film Festival).

At the same time, she writes poetry and prose. She has published two poetry collections and one short story collection, blending her cinematic universe with a dreamlike realism that explores the concept of time and the contradictions that shape our humanity. Her short story collection (But None Of This Has Happened Yet) was shortlisted for the 2026 Reader Literary Awards and is nominated for the Public Book Awards. In May 2024, she was among the ten emerging Greek writers selected to present their work at the 20th Thessaloniki International Book Fair.

She is a graduate of the Athens Law School and the Athens Conservatory’s Drama School.

Until 2020, she worked for ten years as a theatre actress, performing in productions of the National Theatre of Greece, the Athens and Epidaurus Festival and the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, among others. In 2019, she won the Emerging Actress Award at the All4fun Theatre Audience Awards. In 2015 and 2018, she was nominated at the Queer Theatre Awards in the category of Performance in a Female Role.

Her experience in theatre, along with her long-standing love for literature and poetic visual storytelling, shapes the way she perceives the world.
