RESIN OR FRIENDSHIP
a poem by Malamati-Maria Petridou
a video by Christina-Kallirroi Garbi

“It smells porous, it smells dense like dreams. Later I would read: resin tapping, resin collection, wound the trunk of the tree, a single strip of bark is enough, place a small bag beneath the wound, the wound weeps resin, be careful—the trunk tends to heal itself, wound it again after two weeks at the same spot, keep the red color alive, prefer young pine trees, good luck.”
