‘’They say that the lemon tree, after years of drought, frost, loneliness, and epiphany (what do all these nouns mean? stroke your mind with your hands and you’ll understand), decides to die in a state of abundance. It opens its branches wide, in every possible direction, and fills itself with yellow. It overflows with lemons and words. Each lemon is an image and something else we cannot quite grasp, but smells perfect. This final spring is its most undeniable. When it gives, for the last time, everything it has, it leans as if in a dream and embraces the earth.
